Materials used in our labels & tags

SEAREACH® offer two standard materials (others available on request, e.g. high temperature) - Type 1: White permanent or Type 2: Silver voiding

Type 1 : Permanent White

This high-performance material has excellent initial grab and will conform and create a strong bond to most surfaces. No messy glues to contend with!

The bond is instant, so you can continue with marking other assets, without having to wait and maximum protection is attained in approx 24 hours. Once fully set, the material is impossible to remove easily, or in one piece!

The durable adhesive is suited to all types of surfaces, such as plastics and metals and is used by 90% of our customers.

Examples of applications are:-

PC cases, laptops, PDA's, mobile phones, cameras, CCTV enclosures, TFT LCD & plasma screens and monitors, printers, scanners, portable hard drives, switches, server blades, iPads, chairs, file servers, desks - in fact, most furniture and office IT equipment.

Type 2 : Silver VOID labels

Designed to show a voiding mark if tampering has occurred or if attempts at removal need to be identified. For further reading, click here for information on Voiding labels.

The construction of the material is polyester face with a two stage adhesive. On any attempt of lifting or removal, it will leave the words VOID on the label and on the material it is stuck to. The voiding label adheres very well to most surfaces. Even if you try to replace the tag by sticking it down in the same position again, it will be apparent that tampering has taken effect!

* We have tried our tags and labels on the above surfaces and with a mixed range of cleaning products. We do still recommend you test the samples we send on your application before you commit - this will ensure full asset protection and a good bond.
