Warranty Labels

A warranty label is usually applied to show a consumer or engineer that an item is in warranty or indeed if a warranty has now expired. Features usually found on a warranty sticker is a date, company logo, sequential number, date of manufacture or a notification that if it is removed, that the warranty is null & void. They usually destruct or show a voiding pattern, providing an instant visual indication that they have been removed or re-applied and offer a manufacturer or service company knowledge that their product is still valid for repair or exchange.

These labels are used in situations where a business or supplier needs to have protection that the product they are servicing or repairing has not been tampered with or altered. This is especially important in warranty or insurance claim situations. A simple self adhesive warranty seal can be applied over access to a device, enclosure or box protecting the contents inside.

Typically a warranty sticker would contain a warning message indicating that if broken/or tampered the warranty or guarantee on the item it is protecting would be cancelled, or indeed that there are no user serviceable items contained within. They can also be used to show an end user that opening a bag or box would indicate that they have accepted the terms of an agreement from the supplier and that the goods are no longer suitable for return unless the items develop a fault or have other issues.

The adhesives found on a warranty label may contain high grab properties which means that as soon as the seal is applied, the adhesive bonds quickly to the surface its applied to and its security properties are immediately effective.
